I do not have access to a computer or the Internet. Can I still fill out the survey or enter the sweepstakes?


At this time, we only accept survey responses through our Internet survey. However, if you do not have a computer or Internet access, you may still enter the sweepstakes by mail. Please see the sweepstakes rules for details:


How long does the survey take to complete?


The survey should take roughly 15 minutes to complete. For your time, you will be entered into a sweepstakes and be eligible to win one of three $1,000 Walmart gift cards.


How long after my shopping trip do I have to complete the survey?


You must take the survey within two weeks of receiving a survey invitation on your receipt.


I'm having trouble loading the website (


There may be a problem with your connection or the speed of your connection to the Internet. Please contact your Internet Service Provider if this might be the case. If not, you may be experiencing trouble due to Internet congestion. Walmart values your opinion. Please try taking the survey again at a later time.


My Store #, TC # or Visit Date don't work.


The Store #, TC # and Visit Date must be entered exactly as printed on your receipt. You may try to enter the Store #, TC # and Visit Date three times; if you're still having trouble, please try again the next time you visit Walmart.


Why won't the survey accept my zip code?


Please make sure that you are not using the letter 'O' in the place of the number zero.


Why can't I go back and change my responses?


Our programming does not allow users to change survey responses once submitted. This is a measure intended for quality control.


Who can take this survey?


Participation is open only to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence as of the date of entry. Employees of Walmart, its subsidiaries, their respective advertising and promotion agencies, and each such entity’s immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible.


Will my responses and contact information be kept private?


Yes. All contact information is kept private and used only in the context of Walmart research. We will not make any personal information available to anyone without your permission unless we are required to do so by law. If you are the sweepstakes winner, we will share your contact information with the third party who conducts the sweepstakes.


How will I know if I am the winner of the sweepstakes?


You will be contacted by phone within 7 days of the drawing, NOT by email. If you receive a phone call from the sweepstakes administrator, you may be asked to verify your contact information. However, please do NOT give the administrator any additional personal information. No one from Walmart or representatives of Walmart will ever call you to collect personal information. If you are contacted by anyone claiming to be such persons, for your security, please do not provide any additional personal information.


When will the sweepstakes winner be notified?


The winner will be notified about two weeks after the end of the sweepstakes.


Are my chances of winning the sweepstakes higher or lower based on my responses to the survey?


Absolutely not! We care about your shopping experience at Walmart and want to hear your honest opinions about it. The chances of winning the sweepstakes has nothing to do with your responses to the survey.

Why doesn't every Walmart shopper get an invitation to take the survey?


Since people shop at Walmart on a regular basis for similar items, asking people to take the survey after every single shopping trip would be repetitive. However, you are encouraged to take the survey every time the invitation is printed on your receipt, even if you have participated in the past.
